PoB: A History

Gather ye round, younglings, and here a tale of the beforetimes!

During COVID, our group of friends wanted to find a way to connect without breathing in each other’s nasty mouth fumes. After our attempt at a cult fizzled out (too many big personalities) and our OnlyFans failed to get any traction (anti fait & hairy old guy bias), we settled on a TTRPG podcast. We ran it for about four years and pumped out over 100 episodes but, as with all RPG-related groups, scheduling conflicts were a constant bother. During that time, the podcast hosts Rich and Nate ran a Patreon-exclusive podcast called Jumping the Street Sharks.

As the TTRPG podcast fizzled despite being objectively incredible, the Street Sharks cast rolled along. Beyond the madness-inducing rewatch/recaps, the hosts also used free trials of IMDB Pro to cyberstalk old Street Sharks cast members and artists, some of whom graced the show with interviews. But lo! Alas! The show was locked behind an absurdly low barrier of $1 a month! However would our intrepid hosts get a large audience with such an insurmountable obstacle between the general public and the podcast?!

Well, after Jumping the Street Sharks concluded and the Patrons had access to it all for a year, hosts Rich and Nate opened it up to the public. Every two weeks, they released another episode from the vaults much to the delight of millions and millions of fans, give or take a million.

As of this writing, four episodes have been released and another 36+ are in the queue and ready to blast all over your ear holes. With your enthusiastic and continuous consent, of course. Please give it a listen – I think you’ll like it, provided you like dick and fart jokes and 90s cartoons.
